Welcome to the “Eyes on a Cure” Project:

Trigger Happy Tattoo
Tattoo Gallery
And
FC Cancer Foundation

Invite you to participate in this unique and important event…

Our goal is to have 500 or more canvases to proudly display for auction at selected venues that all participants are invited
to attend.

We ask that you participate by making an eye… Any way that your creative mind can fit on a miniature 2” by 1.5”inch
canvas or watercolor board!  We provide all canvas and watercolor boards free of charge, delivered to your shop.  Please
feel free to be original and think FAR outside the box.
Upon completion of this awesome project, a book will be published to commemorate our efforts.  The proceeds from the
Eyes on a Cure project will aid in the fight for a cure.
Project Description
The object of this project is to use our artistic skills to create an Eye.  You may use any Medium you like:  Oils, Acrylic,
Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Charcoal, Pen and Ink, Relief, Etc.  We ask only that you be creative.  We will supply all of the
hand stretched canvases and watercolor boards free of charge.  We have chosen a pre-primed vinyl canvas and “Arches
Cold Press” to ensure a quality work surface.  Feel free to add any artwork to the sides of your piece if you like –
Remember, the only boundary is the initial size of your canvas.
On occasion, we have received Eyes that have been created using alternative mediums such as Prismacolor, charcoal and
pencil.  If this applies to your Eye, please note that we are happy to accept these submissions, but do ask that they meet the
size requirements given.  We will crop, mount and display your piece appropriately upon receipt.  There is no limit to the
number of eyes that you may submit.  Be creative and have fun!

GOAL
Our goal is to collect up too 500 canvases to be auctioned off at selected venues to raise money and awareness for City of
Hope  in Los Angeles, California.  All eyes will begin with a starting bid of no less than $20.00 and will increase as buyers
bid on them.  Our main objective is to raise as much money as possible from auction sales to donate to
City of Hope.
Upon completion of this important project, we will publish a book to commemorate our efforts.  All participating shops and
artists will be able to purchase books by the case at wholesale—The proceeds from these purchases will be cycled back into
the project to generate the printing of more books, posters, etc.  The books that you (artists/participants) purchase are
yours to resale, give away, hoard, and so on…  It is our hope that these publications will not only commemorate our
collaborative work on this project, but recognize and appreciate each of your individual contributions.
All proceeds generated from
Auction sales will be
donated to
City of Hope  in
an effort aid in treatment
and hopes for a cur
e.
We would like to thank City of
Hope for accepting our
contribution and are honored
to be a part of such an
important cause.
